Mancat Monday

Carmine hangs out on a pink fleece cat blanket.Hi everyone, it's mes, Carmine!

Wes is sorry wes has not been posting or visiting much lately.  The Mom has been preoccupied with Litas lately.  As many of yous knows, Litas has not been doing well for some time nows.

Hers is going to the vet today.  The Mom and mes is quite worried about hers.  The Mom says hers has lost a lot of weight, and hers is almost as light as mes now.  Hers was not eating well theres for a little whiles.  Hers is eating more nows, but the Mom would still like it if hers ated more so hers could regain some of the losted weight.

Litas has still been coughing a lot.  It makes the Mom sad, and mes doesn't like to see the Mom sad or Litas not doing well.

Mes is trying to be a good brother.  Mes bugs the Mom a lots for noms so mes and Litas gets lots of meals and snacks.  Mes also lays by Litas a lot to try and comfort hers.  Hers doesn't always like that, though.

Thankful Thursday with an Update from Lita

Lita comforts herself by laying on my jacket.
Hi everyone, it's Lita here with another update about me.

It has been an awful couple of days.  The amoxicillin the Mom was giving me made me feel very, very sick to my tummy.  I did not eat anything for almost two whole days, so the Mom had to get D to help her syringe-feed me a little a/d.

I hid under the bed for two days!

I have spent most of the night on the Mom's bed tonight.  I even ate just a tiny bit of chicken baby food earlier, but I am refusing to eat again now.

Milita's Monday

Lita hangs out on my bed, resting so she can get well.
Hi everyone, it's Lita today.

I know the Mom told you about how sick I've been lately last week.  I still feel crummy, but I wanted to come and say thank you for all the purrs, prayers, love, and hugs you all have sent me.  We really appreciate all of you so much!

I have been taking this nasty-tasting pink stuff called Amoxicillin since last Thursday.  If my fur looks disheveled, it's because I spit some of my medicine out on my fur, and then I like to shake my head and get some of it all over me when the humans quit fussing over me at meds time.

Despite my best efforts, though, I am getting plenty of the gross medicine.

My Very Good, Very Bad Cat Book Review: #ChewyInfluencer

Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat book cover
I have always loved the Chicken Soup for the Soul books - I've been reading them for 20+ years (now I feel old!).  I love all the inspirational stories these books compile together; they just make you feel good!  So, I was thrilled when I received the opportunity to review Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat: 101 Inspiring Stories About Our Happy, Heroic, & Hilarious Pets

All of us cat lovers know that every kitty is unique.  Some enjoy getting into mischief, some make good therapy cats, and some provide us with endless hours of entertainment.  No matter the personality traits a cat has, though, they are all amazing.

Every cat lover I've ever known has countless stories of their furry companions.  I love not only sharing my own stories about Carmine and Lita's antics, but I love hearing others' stories as well.

This book is full of great cat stories.  I could relate to so many of the stories in this book.  I love how the book contains stories about different types of cats - humorous cats, naughty cats, therapy cats, heroic cats, and more.  I enjoyed each and every story.

Each story is only a few pages long.  I find this the perfect length because it easily allows me to read a few stories before I went to sleep at night or on the bus on the way to church.

I would highly recommend Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat to any cat lover.
